Designer. Writer. Photographer. Curator

There's no particular hierarchy or preferred order to the nouns above. They each offer a title that I hope
gives some sort of clue as to what I do. In my work I play all the positions at the same time.

As a Writer I think about the effect of the sound of the words entering the ear. What will best get the
message across?

As a Designer I look at those same words and contemplate their spacing architecturally. Is the aesthetic
of the copy warm enough to invite someone to open the door and explore further?

As a Photographer I shoot with a story line in mind then I edit with the discernment of curatorial eye.

As a Curator I bring narratives together that belong in the same conceptual space but I consider how technology and the use of design leads the viewer to a better understanding of the message being said.

My current creative exploration is how best to use New Media to curate virtual spaces. In my most recent project I collect and select content that shows what happens when you mix globalization, democratization
of technology and artists who see the colour in shades of gray.   

And I have a blog that functions as the space where I pull it all together as an Art and Design Journalist.
I share what inspires me in the hopes it will inspire you as well.
